​     Our approach to reservations is intended to be fair to all of our guests, while allowing us to offer a great dining experience to everyone. From experience, we know the pace and the number of people that we can serve at any one time, considering the size of our kitchen and the seating capacity of the restaurant. For this reason, we only take reservations for parties with 6 or more people, or if you specifically need a table on the 1st floor due to a physical handicap. This allows us to be able to hold off on seating guests if necessary for the staff to be able to accommodate the patrons already seated in a timely manner. If we do need to go on a waiting list on busy nights, the wait is rarely very long, and we have a bar area where you are welcome to relax and enjoy a cocktail while you wait!

     The only exception to our reservation policy is on Valentine's Day, when we do REQUIRE reservations!!  We are generally booked to capacity well before, so please make your Valentine's Day reservation ASAP!  If February 14th falls on a weekend, we will take reservations for both Friday and Saturday evening.

    We DO NOT take reservations for our outside porch seating due to unpredictable and often rapidly changing weather conditions. The porch can only seat parties of up to 4 people. Due to fire/safety regulations, we cannot put tables together for parties of more than 4 people. The porch is seated ONLY on a first request basis to our host/hostess, and there will be times when we will not be seating outside at all due to inclement/approaching weather.

    If you will be attending a play at The Barter Theatre after dining with us, please allow 2 hours for a pleasurable dining experience. All of our food is prepared fresh to order, and all other patrons should allow 1 1/2 hours for dinner with us.
